When creating a project, you need to select your measurement units (Metric or Imperial). This decision is important because it affects everything:

The units shown in BoQs and estimates
Recommendation:

Use metres (m) instead of millimetres (mm)

Use feet (ft) instead of inches (in)
Why?
If you choose:

m → results will be m, m², etc. (clean and practical)
-
mm → results will be mm, mm² (very large numbers, not practical)
Same applies to imperial:
- Inches will give inch², which becomes difficult to work with
